Lots of things change in two years, some stuff stays the same.  I’m still suffering writer’s block– ask me the last time I’ve written a story–uhh… 2006 I think?
I have another favorite flower: Orchids.  I got a plant last spring and the flowers fell by August. It just started blooming new flowers last month.

I added a new favorite show to my list–  LOST.  Yeah I got sucked in eventually and spent the entire summer of 2009 watching seasons 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5…then watched the final season when it came out.  It was amazing, but I wish it hadn’t ended.

I still feel like I am swimming with my head above the water, struggling to stay up.  And I still don’t know what I want to be when I “grow up”. 

A couple of huge changes:  I didn’t get accepted into Virginia Tech.  It was probably for the best.  I can’t imagine how my life would have turned out if I had gone there and I honestly don’t even want to imagine it.  That’s a story for another entry– Look for something that has Virginia in its title later on.

Instead, I went through a year and a half of torture with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online….  For Residential Planning (aka… kind of interior design, but not quite).   Here’s my advice.  NEVER go to this school, and don’t do the online school thing, especially if you are doing anything artsy.  The school was so disorganized and you end up teaching everything to yourself–but get this, you have to pay money for it– a lot.  Anyway, now I have a “college diploma” for Residential Planning–And the school sends me job leads for things like ”furniture sales person” at STAPLES.  It’s just frustrating. 

Nevertheless, I am happy.  I have a wonderful boyfriend right now and I have a job.  Granted I hate my job, at least I have one at this point and I have money to pay the bills (but nothing else). 

I will stop rambling for now.  My next entry will start to get into my point of things.  Maybe,.

25 Random Things:

 [1] I have absolutely NO idea what I want to be when I “grow up”… And it kind of scares the hell out of me…I have ideas…but don’t know what I want to pursue so I feel like I am going in circles constantly.

[2] Once I am a close friend to you, I am forever loyal… But most people take that for granted and I end up being pushed away, misunderstood or forgotten about.

[3] My new favorite thing to do is to make jewelry…I’ve been getting really good at it and am trying to sell some of my stuff.

[4] My favorite color has been pink since I was in the 8th or 9th grade.

[5] If I had my choice I would skip getting a career and be a stay-at-home…working on painting, drawing, jewelry and writing. I actually would love to (in addition to being an author)…create my own line of home decor stuff. But going back to #1…It’s just one of my many ideas of things I want to do.

 [6] My new favorite candy is the sour starburts..but they are hard to find. Then I like DARK chocolate. yum.

[7] I am suffering a horrible and long streak of writer’s block. I have absolutely no trouble coming up with the ideas for stories…but when it comes time to put the idea out on paper and start writing, I freeze up and can’t do it.

[8] My biggest fear is losing people I love and care deeply for.

[9] My cat gives me kisses…And when she sees that I am upset, she’ll come up to me and start licking my face or meows as if she’s trying to tell me it will be okay.

[10] I wish I could go back in time and do college all over again and apply myself more than I did.

[11] My favorite animals are cats…any type of cat… Tiger, leopard, house cats. I love them all and I want a baby tiger for a pet!

[12] Lately I have been listening to the Foo Fighters a lot. I think they are a pretty good band. But I honestly couldn’t tell anyone who my favorite band is…because I don’t know. I like too many different things and I can’t decide.

[13] I collect movies. I have probably close to 200 or more dvds, maybe. Haven’t counted them recently.

[14] My favorite flowers are lilies, lilacs and roses.

[15] I desperately am hoping I get accepted into Virginia Tech for the creative writing program because it will give me another chance to work at one of the things I want to do. Write. And also will help me get certified to teach because that’s another idea of mine of something I would like to do (which I didn’t think I wanted to do while I was working on getting my BA).

[16] I think one of the best shows I watched growing up was Boy Meets World…It was real, funny, and filled with lots of life’s lessons. hah.

[17] I pretty much taught myself how to do a lot of things: draw, paint, write, make jewelry, make graphics, etc.. But I had help bettering my skills through school, classes and friends.

[18] I love strawberries… Even strawberry scented things and flavored things… They always end up being my favorite.

 [19] My eyes become attracted to anything that is pink…I’ll walk through a store and see one pink thing on a rack and I automatically have to go look at it. It’s like: “ooo! Shiny thing!”

[20] I feel accomplished when I finish watching a new movie I’ve never seen before, or when I finish reading a book…because it just means I have one more story crammed into my memory.

[21] I LOVE writing supplies and art supplies…and I get all excited whenever I get new ones… Paper, pens, pencils, journal books, paint, colored pencils, crayons….ALL of that stuff.

[22] I wish I didn’t let things or other people hold me back…Because I feel like I am constantly making decisions to please other people and to not upset anyone. But mostly, because I am afraid of failing at something I try to do…I’m afraid of being judged. So sometimes I don’t want to try because of that. And I know it’s wrong and bad.

[23] My favorite disney movies are Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty & the Beat and Lion King

[24] Right now I feel like I am living with my head above water, struggling to keep it there.

 [25] I have a huge passion for creativity. I love anything creative and artistic.
